We had a long Christmas this year - 2019

Christmas has occupied more of our time than usual this year.  We spent the summer refurbishing our sleigh and it was well received throughout December.

At the end of November our planning was all in place, our friends and volunteers were lined up and we were ready to go.  It all started on 30th November with our Christmas Dance. From 2nd December and over the next two weeks, we took our sleigh around the streets, knocking on the doors of Biggleswade, Clifton, Henlow, Langford and Potton. Santa was kept busy too; attending the Langford Garden Centre as well as our sleigh runs and Supermarket tin shakes.

For 12 days we collected at our local supermarkets and would like to thank Morrisons in Shefford, Tesco at Sandy; Asda, Sainsburys & Matalan in Biggleswade.

Thank you to everyone who helped us with our fund-raising; contributed to our collections; or gave us permission to stand outside their business to collect much needed funds.

After Christmas, comes January, we’ll then have to start planning for Christmas 2020.
