This year’s Logo Quiz is raising funds for Sue Ryder, St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger. Last year’s Logo Quiz resulted in a £1,000 donation to East Anglian Air Ambulance. The Draw for the Logo Quiz Prize Winner will take place on 21st October 2025
Our Easter Egg Draw raised just over £2,000 which will make a most helpful contribution towards the cost of taking a 50 seater coach of disadvantaged children and their carers to Gullivers land in August and buying them lunch and wristbands for the rides We held a successful Jumble Sale on the 22nd March. The 27th April found us at Sandy Spring Market with out Lucky Mugs and Quiz sheets. The big event at the beginning of May is of course, Ickwell May Day, where we turned up on a chilly day with Lucky Dips, Lucky Mugs, Quiz Sheets, skittles and our Golf Game. On 6th August Dave Wright, Community First Responder demonstrated the Defibrillator that we had purchased for them.
On Saturday 9th of August we took a party of 60 for a special day out at Gulliver’s Land>> where a great day was had by all.
On 6th September we attended the Volunteers Fair at the Bigg Theatre, hoping to attract new members to the Club so that we may continue serving our Biggleswade/Sandy district community for years to come
We had a busy day at Gamlingay Show on 20th September with two winners landing their chicken in the Basket.
On the 4th October we entertained over 100 country folk at our Barn Dance at the Weatherley Centre
